Purpose and legal basis
The purpose of processing is to be able to send out the newsletter that you have signed up for. Additionally, your data may be used in an anonymized form for statistical purposes.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is consent under Article 6 (1) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation. Consent is given when signing up for the newsletter.
The data being processed
The Immigration Service processes general data in the form of the e-mail address you enter when signing up for a newsletter.
Recipients of personal data
We do not pass on your personal data to others.
However, the Immigration Service uses a data processor to process your data. The data processor processes your data following instructions from the Immigration Service.
Storing your data
The Immigration Service stores your personal data until you withdraw your consent, after which the data is deleted. You withdraw the consent by unsubscribing from the newsletter. Information about unsubscribing appears in the newsletter.
