Country of Origin Information
Country of Origin Information (COI) is a unit under CDE, and the purpose of the unit is to assist the immigration authorities, mainly by collecting COI on current event and conditions. The employees of the centre are excluded from processing any applications and are not involved in the ruling of cases.

Prevention and Counselling
The unit supports the Danish municipalities and other public and private entities in the prevention of extremism.
Intelligence and Analysis
The unit has the mandate to investigate whether foreign individuals and organizations meet the conditions for being admitted to two sanction lists.
